How you finish a card

  1. Peel back a corner of the protective film — not the whole card, or the glue collects dust.
  2. Tip one colour of drills into the tray and shake until they sit face up.
  3. Press the wax into the pen, pick up a drill and set it on its symbol.
  4. Work one colour at a time and press the finished area flat with the back of a book.

Round or square drills

Card sets use the shaped drills the design was printed for, so there is nothing to choose here. On a canvas the choice does matter: square drills sit edge to edge and give a solid surface, round ones are quicker to place and leave a small gap.
